The mission statement of Dancers At Sea is to facilitate the optimum experience for those who love to ballroom dance with trained and gracious partners. All our hosts are energetic, professionally trained and are delightful and fun companions. We are intentionally limiting our paying passengers to 40 so that each paying passenger will dance as much as they please. Our hosts will dance exclusively with our passengers and will also offer daily group dance instruction to all Dancers At Sea participants.

|Wendy Olsen - As owner of Dancers at Sea, Wendy combines her passion for Ballroom Dancing with years of experience in the Travel and Cruise Business. She coordinates all the travel and dancing details of a cruise to fulfill every dancer's dream.||Todd Hansen - Todd has been watching ballroom dancing his entire life because his parents met on a dance team in college. So when he got to college at Utah Valley University, he took a class... that turned into 2 classes... which turned into 4 classes, and soon he was doing little else but dancing. He made the college's Traveling Formation team, and traveled to Blackpool England to win the same trophy that his parent's team had won 31 years earlier. He has been competing both Standard and Latin since then, making it into the top 24 Couples in the USA in the Amateur Standard level in 2009. He started teaching in 2004, and In 2011 he ran the Ballroom Program at the University of Utah and co-directed the Ballroom Dance formation teams there. Since moving to California in 2012, he has been performing and competing as he pursues a career as an actor and he is continuing that pursuit here in Atlanta. |Jatindah Singh - J lives in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK. He started dancing in 1993 beginning with Salsa, Merengue and "Modern Jive”. He then acquired skill in Argentine Tango, Kizomba, Bachata, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Night Club 2 Step and Lindy Hop as well as both smooth and standard ballroom and rhythm as well as Latin. A truly distinguished gentleman with a genuine joy of music and dancing and a desire to share that joy!
Amber Reich- began her love for ballroom dancing at age 11. After joining one of North Carolina's top dancing schools, she quickly realized that dancing was her life's dream and nothing could stop her from reaching the top. Amber began teaching dance at age 16 and over the years competed, performed and traveled across the country living out her dream. In 2007 she moved to Atlanta and now teaches at one of the top studios in the Southeast.
|Steve Williams - Steve Williams - Steve is a recently retired gentleman from Her Majesties Prison Service. He is a very competent and well trained dancer, 6ft. tall and in his late '50s. Steve loves ballroom, Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep and Viennese Waltz. He has gained proficiency and flair in the Latin dances and shines in Jive and Rock-n-Roll.|
Maria Durant - Maria started dancing at the age of 7. She is trained in ballroom, salsa, swing, ballet, jazz, gymnastics, hip-hop and tap. A Ballroom instructor since 2002, and competitor in American Smooth until 2006. She is an inspiring instructor , passionate about dance with a sincere desire to improve the physical & emotional wellness of her students. |Robert Cooper - Robert has been involved in the Ballroom Dance world for nearly 20 years. He is trained in both International & american styles of dancing. A 4 time US Latin Formation champion, British Open Lasting formation champion in Blackpool. He traveled around the world competing & performing with the prestigious Brigham Young University ballroom Dance Team. Robert continues to compete and teaches full time as an independent instructor in Newport Beach, CA.|
|Jennifer Radon- Having grown up in the dance world, Jen started dancing at the young age of three. Classically trained in ballet, jazz, tap, and modern as well as Rhythm, Smooth, Latin and Cabaret, she has competed and performed in many venues. Jen was a 2011 Metropolitan Dance Sport Championship Open Cabaret Finalist, as well as continually placed in the finals with her husband, Tommy, in Professional American Rhythm. The two continue to compete professionally across the country while maintaining their own studio, Storm Ballroom Dance Centre. Jen is thrilled to share her passion for dance with all of the dancers at sea!||Javier Ochoa - “Javi” has been dancing for over 25 years and teaching for around 15. He has been part of all the different aspects of the dance business from professional competition, studio manager, teacher, traveling coach and judge. An expert at a wide variety of social and ballroom dances.social and ballroom dances. He has competed in both smooth and rhythm and was 2012 Rising Star Smooth Champion. Javi grew up dancing salsa, merengue, cumbia and is certified in American Smooth & Rhythm, Standard, Lindy Hop, Bachata, WC Swing and Argentine Tango. |Tricia Wood - Tricia teaches over 20 styles of Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and Country dances in Group Classes and Private Lessons. She owns Dance and Entertainment Studios in the Twin Cities, and also provides Event Entertainment offsite- dance lessons, performances, and music DJ services, for corporate galas, country clubs, schools, churches, health and wellness programs, and more. In addition to teaching, Tricia also choreographs, performs, and competes with her students, and for herself- including training for the Theater Arts showdance division. Tricia and her studio is highly involved in community events, and was named the local 2011 “Business of the Year.”||Shane Meuwissen - Over many years of teaching dance, this top-notch instructor, has perfected the art of teaching anyone to dance. His DVIDA certification in Latin, Ballroom, Smooth, and Rhythm, allow him to bring precise technique to dancing, but also permit him the freedom to explore the true character and feelings behind the dance. After teaching competitive and social dancing for years at one of the top studios in the United States, he now brings his nuanced understanding and passion to Dancers At Sea!!|
|Melissa Kellar - Melissa started dancing at the age of 5 experiencing several styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and lyrical. She also has done many forms of performing arts including acting and theater. Melissa fell in love with ballroom the very first time she did it at the age of 16, and just a year later won American smooth and rhythm as a junior pro/am at the world promotions world championship! As a professional she has won the American rhythm Astaire world championship, open rhythm regional champion and open rhythm national finalist! She has a passion for bringing people together and sharing the art of ballroom dancing whether it is social or competitive. Yana Schlenker - Originally from Russia where she began dancing at the age of 6, Yana is currently a dance instructor at Cheryl Burke Dance Studio in California. She excels in Bolero, Chacha, Salsa & Nightclub 2step! She is engaging, energetic, classy & elegant. She is a patient & fun instructor and will make you feel at ease!
|Dennis Woods - Dennis has been passionate about dancing since his early childhood years as he watched his own parents achieve a successful healing through the training in ballroom dance. He has never stopped dancing since the day he walked into a studio. His professional accomplishments include American smooth Open finalist, American Rhythm finalist, Pro/Am Smooth Champion, Certified in bronze through Open gold in all styles! He received his recent title of American Smooth Rising star Champion with his partner Amber Reiche, also a Dancers At Sea instructor! Dennis has a dream to share this wonderful gift with everyone he meets onboard with Dancers At Sea!|
Dahlia Aitova - Dahlia has been dancing since the age of 4 and was trained in both International and American styles of dancing. Born and raised in Russia, at 19, she moved to the United States and continued her dancing career. She worked with Arthur Murray and Independent Dance Studios. In 2008, still wanting to dance and teach, she joined Allure Dance Studio and became an instant success and sought after instructor. Dahlia enjoys working with all students. She loves helping them become proficient and confident dancers on the dance floor.
|Larry Seeger - Larry has been ballroom/swing dancing since high school, continually trains and dances, and his latest passion is the Argentine Tango. He revels in the beauty and magic of couple dancing. When not dancing, he sails, skis, travels and is an active officer and crew in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. He is a gracious, talented and charming addition to the Dancers At Sea!|
|Magdalena Piekarz - Magdalena began her dancing journey at the age of seven in Poland, where she quickly discovered her passion for ballroom. Since then, she has won many National ballroom titles and has placed fourth in the World in American Smooth. Today, her extensive dance background includes expertise as a professional instructor and competitor in the four primary ballroom styles: American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Standard, and International Latin. She has achieved many dance certifications, including multiple recognitions from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). She has done promotional appearances for "Dancing with the Stars" and has been a finalist on TV's "America 's Ballroom Challenge". Magdalena recently retired from her competitive career, but because of her love of teaching dance, she continues to share her expertise with her wonderful students in the Philadelphia area.||Andy Howard - Andy is a versatile experienced ballroom dancer with over 17 years of training, social dancing & exhibitions. You will treasure his skill on the dance floor & his social graces. A distinguished gentleman with a passion for dance and new friends on the high seas!|
|Hector Rivera - has been dancing since the age of five. He a certified dance educator with a BA in Dance, Dance Research and Post - Secondary Education. He is also a Grand Master in American Smooth and International Latin. Also a member of NDCA and DVIDA. Hector trains his students to be good social and competitive dancers in all styles of Ballroom and Latin dance. He believes that dance is a gateway to our soul, that feeds the mind, body and the spirit. His heart is in continual education in dance. And his goal is to teach everything that he has learned and pass it onto his students. "To live is to Dance... To Dance is to live..." HR||Kim Andrews - Kim is from West Hartford CT and began his dancing career at Arthur Murray studio at the age of 18. Eventually he moved to the west coast where he competed in American Smooth & Rhythm. he is fully versed in all the major ballroom, latin and club dances in both American and International styles. Kim is certified gold in Arthur Murray, Fred Astaire and Terpshicore syllani. He currently enjoys living & teaching dance in San Jose, CA. You will love his style!|
|Bob Silva - Bob grew up in Massachusetts, has visited all 50 states, lived in 18 of them, and now lives in Virginia. He is an avid ballroom dance host who loves to share the dancing experience with partners of all abilities. A great conversationalist with a career in environmental engineering and also enjoys skiing, genealogy, theater and reading.||Buddy Stotts - Buddy started his professional career as a gymnast and dancer in award winning Vegas Cabaret where he became a lead singer, dancer & MC! He discovered Ballroom dancing in NYC and loved it! He has won 1st place titles in Swing & Hustle and has performed on Broadway in "A Chorus Line". He has appeared in many feature films, tv programs, and is the current choreographer for a hit tv show. He also loves to perform as a stand up comedian and will keep you smiling, laughing, and dancing like a dream! |Sandra Naccache and Alexander Richardson have been dancing together professionally since 2006. As teachers they have a strong standard for technique, artistry and discipline. Sandra and Alexander travel internationally and perform on a weekly basis in some of the most prestigious theatres, Milongas, Festivals and events. They are sought after artists who’s career highlights include TV, Film, cruise and stage work. As artists living their passion they are humbled to have the chance to do what they love...dance! Sandra and Alexander are members of the Canadian Dancesport Federation and are certified to teach International Latin/Standard and American style Latin/Smooth dances.||Andre Gosselin - Andre has been an enthusiast on the dance floor since the age of 14! A former Canadian Latin Champion and Fred Astaire Eastern Smooth Champion, he has lived in the US since 1990. He is a licentiate with the Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), and has owned the Fred Astaire studio in Red Bank, New Jersey for 20 years. An absolute delight on the dance floor, he obviously loves what he does and inspires you to "Dance your Dreams".|
|Stuart Scott - Stuart has all the natural charm of an Englishman, a true gentleman at heart. However, the passion of Argentina is just under the surface when he dances the Tango, which is his specialty. Don’t worry, if that’s not your dance he also dances all of the ballroom and Latin dances at a high standard. When he’s not on the dance floor he’ll probably be making you laugh with some of the fascinating stories from his long career in the scotch whisky industry.||Mario
Andreas Avila -
Mario studied Jazz, ballet and Flamenco before discovering Ballroom. He has taken his street jazz styles and Ballroom to many schools and studios as choreographer, performer and instructor. He has also served as guest choreographer and performed locally at many of Santa Cruz County's charitable events. Look for him as a principal dancer in the feature film "Swing." |
Mario's ballroom pedagogy occurs under the direction of the Palomar Ballroom. He has an undying love for Swing music and dancing. He specializes in Latin/Rhythm dances such as Salsa, Rumba, Cha Cha and Bolero, his repertoire also includes American Smooth Ballroom.
|Nat Sheppard - Nat was originally born in Atlanta, Georgia and now lives in Chicago where he enjoys all forms of ballroom dancing on a regular basis. Tall, smooth & debonair, he is a sought after Argentine Tango lead as well!||Bruce Brenizer - A tall elegant host with blue eyes and charming smile. Bruce has many years of ballroom training in the Southern California area and is a delight to dance with. His West-Coast Swing is fun and sassy! He is an easy conversationalist with genuine warmth and friendship.|
|Dale Moreth- Ballroom dancing for 17 years in both Latin and Smooth. Dale really enjoys moving to the beat of the Rumba and "dancing on the clouds" to the Waltz. He also loves to hike and has "walked above the clouds" in Colorado, Alaska, & Scotland. Before Ballroom dancing, he was a nightclub dancer, so you are guaranteed fun on the dance floor no matter what is playing!||Chris Bookwalter - Christopher is a natural to the world of Ballroom and Latin dancing. He
started dancing hip hop at the age of 16 and was introduced into ballroom dancing at the ripe young age of 20. He began his professional career teaching for an Arthur Murray in Pennsylvania, where he became predominant in American Smooth dancing. He is currently an independent instructor teaching American Smooth and Rhythm, as well as International Standard and Latin to his competitive students. Christopher has a very outgoing look on everything, and loves improving the quality of other's lives, as well as his own through dance. Be sure to ask him for a Foxy Trot!!!!
|Jorge Doctolero - Jorge personifies the joy of dancing. As an instructor, he is the student's favorite (at Fred Astaire Dance Studio) for his humorous, yet dignified approach to teaching. As a social dancer, his partners dubbed him as metaphysical in smooth dancing, yet grounded but sensual in latin and rhythm. And since he is engaging by nature, every pattern executed becomes a shared expression of the delightful aspect of the art of dancing.||Gordy Meyers - Tall charming and upbeat, Gordy brings out the best in his dance partner with his strong easy to follow lead. Accomplished in all of the ballroom and swing dances, he particularly enjoys showing his partner off in the Hustle and Cha Cha.|

||Raoul Weinstein - Raoul is a high-energy dancer, especially with the swing, but loves all types of ballroom dancing. He not only enjoys the group dancing on board but has a knack for getting the group together for fun shore excursions. He uses his local fitness center and the western ski slopes to stay in shape for dancing (or is it the other way around?).|
|Earl Forte - Earl is a long-time Ballroom & Nightclub dancer in the NY-NJ-PA area, and has received extensive training from some of the nation's leading professionals in various styles of dance. He currently dances more than 15 dance styles, having won competitions in Hustle, Rumba, Salsa, & West Coast Swing. Partner's, of all levels, find dancing with Earl an absolute pleasure and often comment on his classy style and smooth, gentle lead. His smiling face, fabulous dancing spirit, and infectious personality make for wonderful entertainment as well!||Jeff Mann - Jeff is a well liked social dancer and host with past competition experience in West Coast Swing, Night Club 2 step, and Country 2step. |Richard Conti - Richard loves life, and loves dancing-pure & simple! His energy and positive spirit spread to everyone he meets. He has been a studio owner and pro-am competitive instructor and has recently chosen to retire and teach part time and now enjoys the opportunity to travel! |John French - John was born and currently resides in Athens, Alabama and has enjoyed ballroom dancing for more than 25 years. He enjoyed a career in radio & television communications and enjoys the social aspect of cruising. He is an avid conversationalist and an attentive lead for his lucky lady on the dance floor.||Danny Carter - A.N.A.D.T.A (Associate North American Dance Teacher’s Association) is a member of the National Dance Council of America and is owner and founder of "Dance Moves" in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Danny began his career as a ballroom dancer in Atlanta with the Fred Astaire Studio in 1982. After teaching and competing in ballroom dance, he moved to New York tobecome a professional performer. Shortly after arriving in New York, he joined the international touring company of the American Ballroom Theater. During his six years with American Ballroom Theater, Danny appeared on stage from Hong Kong to the Kennedy Center, performing to wide critical acclaim.. While he enjoys the recognition as a professional dancer, Danny’s greatest pleasure comes from teaching others the art and skill of dance. |Steve Schiller - Steve is a tall, skilled ballroom dancer from California with over 10 years experience in all forms of ballroom dancing and has a both a charming personality as well as a dedication to silver-level dancing. Ballroom dancing is his hobby and his beloved passion and now he joins Dancers At Sea traveling the world to make your dream cruise a reality!||Dan Mercado - Dan has been dancing since his college days (35+ years) and performed for over 10 years with the Beverly Hills Dance Ensemble. He is a sought-after Latin and ballroom and swing dance partner, and as a recently retired electrical engineer, he has expanded his hosting avocation to include cruise ships. From salsa to polka to slow foxtrot to Viennese Waltz, Dan's versatility and gentle leading style and personality bring a comfortable and enjoyable dancing experience to ladies of all levels.|
|Joe Glasgow - Joe was introduced to the world of dance at the very young age of 7. His mother loved Ballroom dancing and he and his twin brother were encouraged and trained throughout their coming years. Joe then pursued the world of dance further in new York and performed with the Babiak International Dance Ensemble. His journey continued as he embraced the art & discipline of Ballroom and now competes at gold level! He is a regular in the Sarasota, Florida social ballroom community and a favorite of the ladies with Dancers At sea as he shares his enthusiastic joy & talent with us!
||Greg Sipe - Greg brings 30 years of experience as a professional instructor and pro-am competitor in International and Standard as well as Rhythm and Swing. A handsome host extraordinaire who shares his talent and gracious manners with the ladies as he cruises and dances his way around the world with Dancers At Sea!|
|Ron Aubry - Ronald is an exuberant and talented dance professional with a variety of dance styles including Jazz & Modern. Dancing is his passion! His expertise in Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and Argentine Tango as well as his joyous smile and wonderful lead will delight the ladies on the floor!
||Mack McKenzie - Started his professional Ballroom dancing career at World Champion productions at the age of 19. His home town is Savannah, Georgia where he dances and trains others in the beauty and art of ballroom dancing. He also dances for Savannah Dance Theatre. He is fluid in a multitude of styles of dance including ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and lyrical dancing and has performed in many theatrical productions. Mack's favorite thing about dance is pushing his body to the limit to achieve new heights. You will take delight in his charming demeanor and his repertoire of exciting dance moves!|
|Stacie Farmer - Staci has spent the last two years of her dance career teaching and competing with Storm Ballroom Dance Centre, located in Cherry Hill, NJ. She is versed in all styles of American Rhythm and Smooth. Although she enjoys competing, Staci also has a strong background in social dancing and helping people of all levels feel at ease on the dance floor. Staci looks forward to dancing at sea with those that share her passion.||Arthur Kobylas - Arthur’s love of dancing began in high school in his native home of Poland, continuing on a dance team in college. He rekindled his passion of ballroom dancing 12 years ago, has had excellent training, competed, and most of all, enjoys sharing his talent with our lucky ladies at sea. Arthur is an enjoyable and gracious host!|
|Tommy Radon - Tommy began his dance career as a jazz and hip-hop dancer before becoming a professional choreographer at only 13. He was the main choreographer and scout for national model and talent conventions. Tommy was also a part of many performance tours, working as a choreographer, master teacher and consultant.Tommy eventually continued his dance career as a ballroom instructor. He earned Top World Instructor at Arthur Murray; Top NY Instructor each year he was at Fred Astaire as well as Top US Instructor at Fred Astaire in 2008. Tommy currently holds the world record of teaching 214 dance lessons in a single week to raise funds for charity. Tommy continues to compete professionally in American Rhythm and is owner of the Storm Ballroom Dance Centre with his wife, Jennifer.||Maria Fiora - Originally from Italy, Maria now lives on the East Coast. She found her passion for teaching and competing in Fred Astaire Dance Studios where she went on to own her own studio. With a background in music and fitness, she is inspired to teach dancers how to understand music and the details of partnership. Maria loves to choreograph and perform. She was a professional American Rhythm competitor from 1994-2003 in the United States with her Greek dance partner. They trained dancers in The US and Greece while also performing in Latin and Argentine Tango. In 2003 she opened Dance With Maria, where she enjoys teaching men and women footwork, styling, musicality and the beauty of dance.|
Steeve jean Louis - An excellent professional dancer and competitor, Steeve Jean Louis teaches and coaches students in all American smooth, American rhythm, International ballroom and international Latin dances. Originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He began his training in ballroom dancing there in 1997. Having discovered his true passion he moved to Florida in 2004 to perform, compete and teach. Since his arrival in the US.., he has trained with several top dance champions and has won numerous top title in various dancesport championships. He is an outstanding teacher, and one of the most versatile dancers in the world. You will light-up the dance floor when you dance with Steeve!
|Jeff Halverson - Jeff is a seasoned Ballroom instructor for 20 years and enjoys cruising and sharing his enthusiasm for dancing. He excels in pro-am competitions as well as competes in pro American Rhythm events. He will share his flair for social dancing and gracious camaraderie with you aboard Dancers At Sea!|
Philip Spinka - Philip worked as a professional dancer, instructor, and performer for nearly twenty years, receiving his IHDA Hustle and GPDIA West Coast Swing teaching certifications. As a competitor, he won and placed in hundreds of competitions, as well as earning West Coast Swing Rising Star placements. Excelling at West Coast Swing, Hustle and Theater Arts, he also trained in Ballroom, Tango and Jazz. Based in New York at Stepping Out Studio for several years, Philip taught and performed in Manhattan, Philadelphia and New Jersey, in addition to traveling the nation. He is on staff at Stardust Dance, teaching in New York and on cruises, as well as teaching at his own “Studio 221” in Clarks Summit, PA. Philip teaches that only music and connection should passionately motivate dancers.
Jan and Lily Bones - Jan or Johnny in English as his friends call him began taking ballroom dance classes with his sister at 10 years old and soon began competing on the international competition circuit in Kiev, Europe and the UKs Blackpool competition where he was a finalist. Jan has run his own dance studio "Tangere Studio" for 13 years. He has a special interest in Tango and particularly the new style Tango Nuevo. He holds a masters degree in teaching and has had a professional career in theatre.
Lily met Jan in a ballet on stage at the Slovak national theatre and their partnership began on the salsa dance floor after the ballet premier. After a successful career as a ballerina Lily took a contract in a ballroom show called Dance Passion which played on Cunard lines Queen Victoria for three years. Lily moved up the ranks to Social hostess and work on all three Cunard ships. She is very familiar with the ballroom having hosted many events and taught ballroom dance lessons on board. Lily has taught Tango and ballroom dance with Jan and enjoys teaching adults.
